6th Annual Running of the LCYC Champagne Race

August 13th, 2005

Once again it’s time for what’s been stated as “The best race of the summer”. Join us for the high stakes, teeth clenching action as some of the fastest, (and not so fastest) sailboats, (and new this year motorboat class) race from Shelburne Bay to Willsboro Bay. The Champagne Race is a fun though real race with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and a few other spots including last place. Following the race at 4PM is the customary awards ceremony with Champagne toast and casual but delicious dinner.

ALL MEMBERS AND BOATS ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE
