Eligibility:

Important: Participants must be able to swim. A swim test will be given on the first day of each session. Participants must come to class every day with an approved life preserver (Type II or Type III).
Beginner: anyone age 8 -17 who can swim and wants to learn
to sail.
Intermediate: anyone age 11-17 who has some sailing
experience and wants to improve their sailing
ability. Luke Wight, our head instructor, will make the
final determination of placement, as appropriate. |

Luke Wight
has grown up sailing and has already proven himself as an accomplished
sailor, competing in many championships in New Jersey, the New England
Championships and the Atlantic Coast Championships. He has 5 years of
experience as a junior sailing instructor and was the intermediate and
advance racing coach at Bay Head Yacht Club in New Jersey. He attends
Stonehill College in Massachusetts. |
